Cancellation Policy.

The Companion Group observes the cancellation policy as set out by the NDIS price guide. Where The Companion Group has a Short Notice Cancellation (or no show), they are able to claim 100% of the agreed fee associated with the activity from the participant’s plan, subject to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and the terms of the service agreement with the participant. 

A cancellation is a short notice cancellation if the participant:

  • Does not show up for a scheduled support within a reasonable time, or is not present at the agreed place and within a reasonable time when the provider is travelling to deliver the support; or

  • Has given less than seven (7) clear days’ notice for a support.

At The Companion Group, we recognise that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need to cancel your bookings with us. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we are here to support you through any changes to your plans.

To avoid incurring any cancellation costs, we kindly ask you to reach out to us as soon as you become aware of any potential changes in your schedule. By doing so, we can work together to find suitable alternative arrangements that best accommodate your needs.
